Mother's Day

Without a mother, Mother's Day just does not seem as exciting.

It is a whole lot more fun and gratifying to

~create a gift you know she will love no matter what;

~prepare a nice dinner for your very favorite mother;

~ fill a wheelbarrow planter with her favorite flowers and see her face light up;

~hug that person who has known you and loved you every single second of your life;

~thank her for everything she has taught you and done for you;

~say, "I love you, Mom!

Happy Mother's Day!

Temptations

Saturday night Katie and Megan, courtesy of Katie, took me to the Utah Symphony for a Mother's Day celebration. Aren't they thoughtful? It was a lot of fun, especially being with Katie and Megan. The older I get the more I realize the most fun I have is when I am with my children. The first half of the concert was very enjoyable. The new pops conductor is very amusing to watch. Megan says she has decided that would be a great way to make a living, dancing as you conducted a symphony. The second half of the concert featured the Temptations. Yes, those elderly men with shiny green tuxedo jackets-- oooo oooo---. A most enjoyable evening! Thank you Katie and Megan!
